View the different layers of the sun's atmosphere and how they are changing over time with the EIT (Extreme Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope) views.
View the sun's magnetic field and how it's changing with the magnetogram view.
The LASCO C2 and C3 views provide a further field of view for solar flares, planetary objects transit, comets, etc.
Each loop contains approximately 30 unique frames of data. The EIT loops generally cover about ten days of observations. The Lasco loops generally cover a few days.
This app contains quick links to the Lasco C3 Transits web page and the EIT CCD bakeout history web page. The Lasco C3 Transits page describes which celestial objects are visible at which times. The bakeout history describes when the instruments are down for maintenance.
